Hey there, it’s Daven Michaels. Today I’m coming to you from Nice, France, for Part II of our “Opt In” box series. In part 1 we talked about why it’s important to have an “Opt In” box on your website, vitally important. Now in Part II, we’re going to talk about what to do with that information once you have it. In Part III I’ll give you some power moves. This is Part II. What do you do with the info once you have it? Well you want to email them right? You want to create an auto-responder series; some platforms call it a follow up series. It’s when you receive marketing emails or content emails. Now, we send them out weekly at 123 even though it probably seems we send them out more often, it’s weekly. But many companies, many marketers, do it daily and, believe it or not, you will get a higher result by doing daily blasts. It’s up to you. I feel that they’re a little bit obtrusive; it’s totally your call. You want to start emailing your people. You can send them text emails, video emails like this one, or you could send them both. We’ve done a lot of testing, we’ve done test emails for years, but now most people have high bandwidth so we are starting to make a switch of it. We think it’s more personal; it’s more interesting, more fun. We hope you do, too. Okay, so that’s what you want to do, you want to create an email series. If you don’t have a series or you don’t know where to begin, we recommend swapping. Everybody does it. All marketers do it. Find somebody with a great email series, swap the content and make it your own. Don’t plagiarize but make it your own. It’s okay everybody does it. We know that. You know, the people copy our emails too and that’s all right. They can’t copy video though can they? All right, so there you go. That’s our tip for this week.
